IStreamHype Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 15, 2026
This policy is written for the current beta version of IStreamHype. If the service is made available publicly, it is intended to follow standard creator-tool privacy practices, platform guidelines, and applicable data-protection requirements.
Overview
IStreamHype is a creator workflow tool that helps capture highlight moments from live streams, organize clips, generate captions, and support user-initiated uploads to connected platforms such as TikTok. The product is designed to keep the user in control of what content is uploaded or published.
What we collect
- Account details such as email address and a securely stored password hash, if account login is enabled.
- OAuth tokens and minimal platform account metadata required to connect TikTok, YouTube, or other supported publishing platforms.
- Clip metadata such as channel name, timestamps, clip titles, engagement markers, upload status, and basic library organization data.
- Generated assets and working content such as captions, thumbnails, and user-approved upload drafts.
- Operational logs and usage data needed to maintain the product, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot failures.
How we use data
- To authenticate users and maintain connected platform sessions.
- To detect highlight moments, prepare clips, generate captions, and present content for review.
- To complete user-initiated uploads to third-party platforms through authorized APIs.
- To improve reliability, monitor system health, and investigate support or security issues.
How data may be shared
IStreamHype does not sell personal data. Data may be shared only with service providers or platform APIs that are necessary to deliver the workflow requested by the user, such as TikTok for OAuth and upload actions, cloud infrastructure providers, or caption/transcription services when enabled.
Retention
We aim to retain only the minimum data needed to operate the service and support creator workflows. Stored clips, metadata, and platform tokens may remain until deleted by the user, revoked by the user, or removed during routine maintenance. Operational logs may be retained for a limited period for debugging, fraud prevention, and compliance.
User rights and control
Users remain responsible for the final decision to publish content. Users may disconnect linked platforms, request deletion of stored account data, or request clarification about what data is retained for their account. If IStreamHype is offered publicly, we intend to provide appropriate controls for access, correction, deletion, and revocation consistent with applicable law.
